The past fifteen years at St. Croix Chocolate Company have been rich with wonderful friendships, fantastic customers and of course — so, so much chocolate!

Through years of creativity and growth, you — our customers, along with our dedicated team — have become our "chocolate family." We can't begin to thank everyone for all the ways you have supported us, but we feel your love every day, and we love you all right back!

  • How I will miss you both! We have celebrated together, cried together and supported each other for 15 years. Congratulations on building a successful business in Marine Village. Not an easy task! Enjoy your “new normal” and visit me at The Gen regularly💗💗

  • I think my first SCCC chocolates were a side order with a dozen eggs, back when Robyn made deliveries at the door of the Star Tribune. I haven’t had nearly enough of them, especially since my move out of state, but I enjoyed watching every step of your growth along the way, as you’ve won awards and customers. A highlight for me will always be a birthday dinner with pizza fresh from the oven, dragonfruit salad, wine and, of course, chocolates. The little shop was always a fun destination too. Congratulations and best wishes!

  • I had a friend introduce me to your chocolates around 10 years ago. It’s now my go-to gift for so many people. Thanks for the wonderful treats I’ve enjoyed and shared with others!

  • I’m really excited for you both. Retirement is a wonderful thing, and I understand the arthritis thing. I you are ever down this way North of Houston, you’re welcome here!

  • Omg- privilege of a lifetime to attend the International Chocolate Awards near Florence Italy with Cathy M. Because you were too busy making chocolates for Xmas! What fun to go, represent you and bring home two well deserved awards to you!
Plus I’ve had fun giving away your chic Easter bunnies, toffee and bringing guests to your shop.
I love how you’ve had fun themed events for the community too.
Thanks SO much for the privilege and fun for many years.
PS another sweet memory is a friend of mine said she used to treat herself to a chocolate at the end of every week after her cancer treatment. Such a lovely gift you made happen!

  • Cheers to you Robyn and Diedre on your new adventure. I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve given the community over these past 15 years, and I have truly enjoyed getting to know you. I’ve probably gifted hundreds of your 4-piece boxes to family, friends, employees and service providers over the years, surprising each one with your amazing confections. But my favorite memory is probably all the hours I spent during the pandemic waiting in line outside in the cold to get your peppermint bark. It became a true addiction… so much so that I eventually ate all of the boxes I purchased as Christmas gifts when your inventory ran out (maybe because I bought it all?), and had to replace the gifts with an inferior imposter. Yay for me! You will be missed!

  • Ladies! This is incredibly bittersweet as we have grown to love you both and seeing Deidre and talking to her has been such a joy and positive experience every single time we visited to the shop. I know whatever you choose to do next will be just as amazing and beautiful as both of you. You will be missed! Remember to Always Seize the Day! 💜

  • My first summer in the area 2 years ago I was out exploring and parked in front of the library. A woman had opened her van door and had armfuls of boxes. She was trying to climb a narrow steep stairway. Asked if I could help. Had no idea whose famous shoulders I had just brushed! Wishing you continued success wherever it takes you both!

  • A highlight for the last few years have been the smoking jacket bunnies for Easter. Of course, part of that was seeing Deidre when picking them up, and through the years introducing new dogs along the way.

  • Some years ago, we brought our nine or ten year old niece to visit the shop. Deirdre was very kind and showed her the equipment and explained how things work.

For the past several years, I have given my team chocolates from your shop to thank them for all they do.

The new owner sounds great and you deserve a wonderful rest!
